  • Billie Ann West Foster '58

I think if you asked any of my Golden Girl classmates, they would all say that this was such a special time for us. It seemed that we all bonded and rebonded with a new closeness which included everyone, not just small groups of friends. Could it be that we are all a little more mature and hence wiser??? Thank all of you for making our 50th reunion so very perfect in the middle of so much controversy.

  • Nikki Seabaugh

Coming back to campus as a Golden Girl + 1 makes me seem like a real "blue hair"...but I still have enough spunk to party with all the other young'ns. I'll be there to help our Association re-invent itself as we conduct very important business. Everyone come and vote!!!!

  • Jill Bethune Wood 1965

What I wouldn't give to be in Columbus in the spring for Homecoming! There is no place more beautiful than the W campus in spring. I will be with you all in spirit !

  • Kym Golden Gore

I love the W's atmosphere at Spring Homecoming. I think I'm almost excited about my 11th reunion as I was about my 10 year. All classes are special, but it seems that the "3" and "8" years have some extra special alums!

Homecoming has become more important to me in recent years. Maybe it's the changes on campus or maybe it's the things that always seem the same when we go back. Whatever it is, I'm really looking forward to this year's. Y'all come back!

  • Bridget Smith Pieschel 1979

I can't wait to see everyone! Ever since I was a freshman, I've looked forward to April and Homecoming. That spring (1976) was the year my Aunt Bernice ('35) and Aunt Martha ('37) came and showed me how W alums love and enjoy each other.

What fun it will be when we become Golden Girls....and that special time will be here before we know if! For now, we need every one of our classmates to join in support of our alma mater. She needs our help now, more than ever, if she is going to survive and continue provide outstanding educational

  • Jimmie Moomaw '58

I will be a Golden Girl this year! It is hard to believe that it has been 50 years since Mag Chain and Pomp and Circumstance. So much has changed on the campus, but it still is the place that puts the Home in Homecoming. It is always good to come home to "the Place," but the essence of the Homecoming experience...is the people, the hugs and the memories.

  • Ruth Wilz Curcuru '83

I'm really hoping to make it. It's my 25th and I've never been to Homecoming. Hopefully no school projects for my kids or work projects for me will interfere!

  • Amy J. Davis '93

I'm so excited to be in town for my 15-year reunion, although it doesn't seem that long. I can't wait to see all of you who are returning, give you big hugs, and spend some time with you! Siri brings the soap!

  • Malinda Mabry-Scott

It will be my 30th reunion. I haven't been back since I was pregnant with Emily in 1984 and had "morning" sickness 24/7. It's got to be better! Can't wait to see everyone!

  • Anghaarad Teague 1995

Proffit's, Old Hickory and my favorite friends---YAY for Homecoming!!!!!!!!

  • Neely Hunter 1995

I'm excited! It's my 4th trip to Columbus since April last year - I'm making up for some of those years I missed. I'm excited to see friends, old & new, and to celebrate my friend Em's wedding engagement!! Good times they are a-comin'!

  • Cindy Pond 1984

I can't wait to hit the town. Old Hickory is waiting! Scary to think this is actually the 25 yr of my original class of '83. I was red shirted a year so ended up in '84. So that means two consecutive years of parties. oh my!

  • Siri Fomsgaard

Yes! I am putting on my cowboy hat as we speak..... - your honorary Great Dane “alum”
